The Louisville Speculative Futures chapter is an inclusive group of creative collaborators from across the community. We are an educational and inspirational platform for imagining, discussing, and identifying challenges and opportunities for the citizens of the future. Our meetups are gatherings for teaching and learning speculative design methods. We put these methods into action with the community to help shape and amplify visions for multiple possible futures for our city.
Speculative Design is a way to manifest possibilities, prepare us for inconvenient challenges and facilitate a more desirable, responsible path into the future.

This group is open and inviting to anyone interested in Speculative Design, Design Fiction, Futures Thinking and any other practices that aim at building perspectives beyond the constraints of today and envisioning preferable tomorrows.
